ASPIRE ensures that R&D resources are strategically directed toward high-potential projects with significant commercial viability. By facilitating efficient resource allocation, ASPIRE drives innovation that delivers real-world value, maximizing the return on investment and enabling the rapid development of cutting-edge technologies.
We play a pivotal role in shaping Abu Dhabi’s R&D landscape by identifying research and technology gaps, eliminating duplications, and ensuring alignment with the Emirate’s strategic priorities.
To achieve this, we collaborate with various Abu Dhabi government entities to review current and upcoming R&D activities within the Emirate, and to draw insights and make recommendations at the project, program, entity and ecosystem levels. Our efforts enable Abu Dhabi’s leadership to make informed, data-driven decisions in steering R&D activities and investments.
Additionally, we partner with select local and federal entities to provide technical and project execution support for activities related to R&D governance and monitoring.
Lastly, we provide design, management and administrative support and expertise for competitive research grant funding programs.
